Vilja is launching Vilja Intelligence Layer, a new part of our core banking platform that connects AI directly to core banking data. At its heart is Vilbot, an embedded AI agent that works alongside banking teams in their day-to-day operations.
Vilja Intelligence Layer is the foundation for AI-enabled banking. It provides MCP-based integrations, embedded agents that support operational teams, and an AI-ready data layer with clear, intuitive naming conventions. Because the data is structured for AI use by design, agents can find and work with the exact data points and insights a user needs.
Vilbot is designed to work alongside banking teams directly within the Vilja Platform. Vilbot can support users in navigating data, accessing relevant information and streamlining everyday tasks such as secure messaging and customers summaries, without leaving the core banking environment.
Everything runs in a European sovereign cloud environment, keeping data and infrastructure under European ownership and control, with no dependency on software or infrastructure governed by jurisdictions outside Europe. Strict guardrails and compliance controls apply at every level.
Banks that already have AI infrastructure in place can bring their own AI. The framework can be configured for any frontier or open-weights model, so each bank can align AI use with its own policies and principles.
